McCann Sydney has lured Affinity creative lead, Marcus Tesoriero, to work with executive creative director, Jerker Fagerström, as creative director
Tesoriero comes to McCann with a lot of those things by which adland ranks its creative people – awards. He has won 20 just this year, including 6 Effies and 3 Ames awards.
“Marcus is one of the best creative thinkers I’ve met and we’re thrilled to have him part of the team. His experience of truly integrated thinking, incorporating technology and data into the work, will be a major asset to our clients,” Fagerström noted.
His 17-year experience covers both traditional and digital advertising. And he has specific expertise in mobile and data-driven creative which, as McCann promises, “will help drive McCann to new heights.

Tesoriero joins McCann after two strong years and very many new business wins as the head of Affinity’s creative department and studio. He was also one of five board members on the Affinity leadership team guided the agency’s growth.

Tesoriero spent the early part of his career at Ogilvy & Mather in Sydney and New York. He was associate creative director at The White Agency from 2010-12, and integrated copywriter-creative director at DT and DDB Sydney before he joined Affinity.
His client list covers the field of major companies – Audi, American Express, Qantas, The Commonwealth Bank, Lion Nathan, The RTA, Unilever and Coca Cola.
