The NYF’s Midas Awards for the World’s Best Financial Advertising open for entries tomorrow.
The NYF has also appointed Deb Ryan executive director of the Midas Awards to lead its strategy and expansion.
Ryan brings 15 years of marketing, account management, corporate communications, new business and sponsorship development experience to the job and will contribute her brand building skills to the global development of the only competition to recognise excellence in financial advertising and marketing on a global scale.
She joins the Midas Awards from TVSquared where she served as director of business development, guiding prominent brands on their ad spend strategy and its impact.
Ryan has also been director, digital marketing & advertising partnerships for Smith Hanley Associates, one of the leading big data analytics and IT recruitment agencies, digital account director for Affinion Group, the leader in global customer engagement, and account director at Story Worldwide, on Green Giant, Skippy, Bertolli, and Promise.
She has held chair and board positions with the American Marketing Association, Entrepreneur Women’s Networking Group, and FNEW, Fairfield Network of Executive Women.
Ryan will lead all facets of NYF’s Midas Awards, oversee the strategy to expand the competition’s global footprint, assemble the Midas Awards Grand Jury and secure strategic partnerships to benefit the competition and its entrants.
