Doctor Doom looks out over a damaged cityscape after an epic battle with the Avengers. What remains is one KFC, standing completely untouched. All KFC had to do was create a menu worthy of his name.
The new global campaign video by Mother, launches KFC’s collaboration with Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday, KFC’s most expansive collaboration to date, rolling out across more than 100 countries ahead of the film’s official release in cinemas in December.
Rather than borrowing a hero, KFC has attached itself to the film’s biggest, baddest character. The result is a limited-time Doctor Doom-inspired menu, limited-edition packaging in a dark, iron-riveted design featuring Doctor Doom’s mask, exclusive Colonel Sanders Cosplay Collection figurines and in-store activations, all built around a single character and a single idea.
Christophe Poirier, chief concept officer, KFC, stated, “This is KFC’s most expansive joint venture to date, and we can’t wait to welcome guests into our extension of the MCU. We’re not just teaming up with the most anticipated movie of the decade. We’re leaning into its biggest, baddest character, and delivering a menu worthy of the moment. This isn’t just about chicken – it’s about putting KFC at the heart of a global cultural phenomenon in the most epic way we could.”

The campaign covers video, out-of-home, social, in-restaurant and packaging in participating markets, with the campaign video adapted globally. Developed by KFC UK&I on behalf of KFC Global, it launched in the UK and Ireland on November 9 and rolls out globally until January 31 2027. Menu items, packaging and collectibles vary by market and the collaboration is not available in the US, India or China.
