Ogilvy has hired from within for the role of global executive creative director for Unilever. Camilla Clerke, currently currently executive creative director at Ogilvy in South Africa, will move to London to take up the role that replaces Dan Fisher on September 1. Fisher, who is moving to become global chief creative officer at Ogilvy’s boutique agency, Ingo, will continue to be involved in the Unilever business during a transition period.
Clerke will report to Liz Taylor, Ogilvy’s global chief creative officer and will work with Nadia Katsiouli, who was appointed global client lead for Unilever in April and Zoe Hamilton, who became global chief strategy officer on the Unilever business earlier this year after working for nearly three years on Dove.
Ogilvy works on a number of Unilever brands, including Dove and Hellmann’s. This year Unilever and Ogilvy celebrated the 20th anniversary of Dove’s Campaign for Real Beauty.
Unilever was recently named Creative Marketer of the Year at the 2024 Cannes Lions.
