Regan Grafton has been promoted to the role of chief creative officer at Ogilvy NZ after three years as executive creative director, during which time the creative work in the agency has achieved great results for its brands.
Last year, Grafton bolstered Ogilvy’s creative firepower, hiring awarded Aussie expats, Lisa Fedyszyn and Jonathan McMahon, as group creative directors. They have now become joint executive creative directors.
Grafton commented, “I’m really excited to announce the promotion of Lisa and Jono to joint executive creative directors. Their mix of leadership, drive and creativity have made a huge impact on the agency. I feel fortunate to have such an amazing team to work with.”
The trio has led work such as The most successful recruitment film, for New Zealand Police, which won international recognition and, more significantly, won a month’s worth of inquiries for NZ Police in the first 24 hours after launch.
In 2018, Grafton, Fedyszyn and McMahon helped Ogilvy o take out the Grand Axis at the New Zealand Axis Awards, as well as a haul of international awards from Cannes, D&AD, AWARD Awards and One Show.
Greg Partington, managing director of Ogilvy NZ, stated, “The promotion of Regan, Lisa and Jono represents our ongoing quest to deliver the most effective, innovative and creative work for our clients.”
