BBDO Worldwide has announced that Omnicom agencies, Clemenger BBDO, CHEP Network and Traffik, will all merge under one entity, Clemenger, in March.


Clemenger will be led by Lee Leggett as chief executive officer. Clemenger BBDO CEO, Dani Bassil, has resigned.
This merger follows Omnicom’s August 2024 decision in the US to bring its advertising agencies under one umbrella, Omnicom Advertising Group (OAG), a new global organisation aligning creative networks, BBDO, DDB, and TBWA, as well as agencies,Goodby Silverstein & Partners, GSD&M, Merkley & Partners and Zimmerman. OAG is led by global CEO, Troy Ruhanen, who has been president and CEO of TBWA\Worldwide since 2014.
CSO and CCO positions have not yet been announced. Clemenger CCO is Adrián Flores, CSO is Simon Wassef. CHEP CCO is Gavin Macleod with CSO, Lilian Sor.
Lee Leggett joined CHEP nearly two years ago from Wunderman Thompson Australia, a five-year stint in which she was CEO and then chief growth officer for APAC.
She began her career at Digitas in London, leaving there to become head of client service and new business director at DDB London for five years. She has CEO of Dare in London before moving to Australia to join IPG’s Initiative as CEO in 2014. After consulting for Havas, We Are Social, Publicis Groupe and WPP’S Hogarth, she joined Wunderman Thompson in 2020. Leggett sat on the IPA Council in London and chaired the Digital Group until 2010. She has also been a senior advisor to the United Nations Development Programme – The Lions Share Fund since 2020, a pioneering initiative that tackles current wildlife conservation and animal welfare crises by redirecting advertising funds to augment biodiversity and sustainable animal-care practices.
