TBWA is having a stellar new business year. TBWA won Amazon a few weeks ago, for which it had to resign its place on Foxtel’s roster), and the Sydney office won Macquarie University in January. Now TBWA Sydney has won the Pepsico beverages business from fellow Omnicom agencies, Clemenger BBDO Sydney. Clemenger had worked on Pepsi Max more than 40 years.
TBWA Sydney became Pepsico’s agency of record for its beverages portfolio in a three-way pitch against Clemenger BBDO Sydney and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne. It had held the Gatorade creative account for the past five years and will now work with all of Pepsico’s Australia and New Zealand beverage brands – Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Gatorade and Mountain Dew.

Clemenger BBDO will continue to work on Pepsico’s snack brands in AUNZ.
