Digital fatigue is being felt more and more. The desire for real connections is taking over. Online dating apps are feeling the pinch. Happn does “online” dating differently. It helps singles meet people in real life. And independent agency, Steve, has turned that standout feature into an inspiring commercial, showing how happn helps real-world connections happen while people go about their everyday lives by identifying daters with whom they’ve crossed paths in real life.

Cross Paths with People in Real Life leads with a commercial directed by No Maybe Yes, through production company, Eddy, who captured everyday moments as opportunities to meet people users might want to meet again via happn.
The full campaign covers digital, VOD, VOL (20- and 15-second formats) and PR (30-second format) with an OOH campaign beginning shortly.
“happn embodies an approach to dating where technology gives way to authentic human connections. We believe that the best encounters come from the spontaneity of everyday life, and this is our vision: to help singles reconnect with real life, in their town, as they walk along,” stated Karima Ben Abdelmalek, CEO happn.
“All the players in the market are starting to talk about real life, but the truth is that happn is the only brand that can really claim this thanks to its unique model, which makes it a great popular brand,” added Guillaume Lartigue, co-CEO and ECD, Steve.
