The ADVERTISING Club of New York and The International ANDY Awards have released three new films in their Inspiration documentary series.
The new films feature Paul Lavoie, co-founder of marketing agency, TAXI; Martin Puris, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Ammirati & Puris; and Bob Scarpelli, former global CCO of DDB and adjunct professor at Northwestern University.
“Paul carved a pathway of influence that extended beyond Canada, inspiring a new generation of creatives,” stated Rob Guenette, former CEO of TAXI, the agency Paul founded in 1992. “His impact is a testament to the power of personality and creativity working together.”
Their stories are of innovative leadership and fearless creativity that have fundamentally transformed the landscape of modern advertising. The films explore their personal journeys, creative philosophies, and the industry-changing ideas they brought to life. More than interviews, they are living lessons in creativity, resilience, reinvention, and leadership.
The Inspiration series is created in partnership with Rick Boyko, former CCO at Ogilvy North America and former director of the VCU Brandcenter – and AICP.

The series now features over 25 industry greats, including Tom Burrell, Lee Clow, David Droga, Sir John Hegarty, Susan Hoffman, George Lois, Keith Reinhard, and now Dan Wieden, Jeff Goodby, and Rich Silverstein.
“This series is an extremely valuable contribution to the business and the art of advertising. It’s the accumulated knowledge of people who did it well,” noted Martin Puris.
