It appears to be a Christmas film in the style of classic John Lewis – a young boy finds an adorable creature. But sweetness dissolves quickly. This creature has a voracious appetite for lighting – lightbulbs, fairy lights, signs…
…and then the film twists again. The creature spews up all the lighting he has swallowed to light up the boy’s town spectacularly.
Meanwhile, The Newtons Laboratory and director, Gary Freedman, have taken their audience a ride of emotions, glued them to the story for 90-seconds and attached the joy of Christmas magic to energy company, Protergia.
