Photoplay Photography has grown again. New additions are vibrant photographer, Sarah Adamson; senior producer, Belinda Blooman; and internationally awarded photographer, Adam Ferguson.
Adam Ferguson is known for his intimate, humanistic storytelling spanning portraiture, reportage, and advertising. His appreciation for the human, emotive heart of every story is palpable and comes from decades of shooting across the world.

The Australian photographer also spends time in the US, and his impressive list of publications includes work for Time magazine, National Geographic and Vanity Fair. Among his many awards is Photographer of the Year by Photo District News in 2018. Ferguson is currently working at the US Mexico border for The New York Times. He will then travel throughout the southwest of the US working on a climate change project for Time Magazine before returning home to Sydney this July.

Sarah Adamson’s creative flair and zeal for perfectly styled authenticity has made her one of Sydney’s most sought-after photographers. She brings a perfect mix of good humour and fashion flair to her work. Her imagery is a vibrant expression of what she loves in life and her work spans advertising, content, portraits, editorial and motion.

As a multi-disciplinary creative, Sarah’s deep involvement in every stage of her projects imbues each image with her sense of joy and creativity. She also works with an engaging ‘behind-the-lens’ personality that allows her images to have a candid intimacy that sets it apart. Her recent campaigns include work for Nike, Westfield, Wrigley’s and just launched Kathmandu.

Belinda Blooman is an accomplished and highly experienced producer. She comes to Photoplay after six years as a senior producer for Union Management, where she focused on fashion, advertising, portraiture, beauty and still life, and before that fifteen years at The Names Agency, one of Sydney’s foundational photographic agencies. Blooman’s deep understanding of every aspect of the profession comes from her love of photography as well ad years of travel and living abroad. She commented, “I am thrilled to continue pursuing my passion for photography at Photoplay. It’s such a pleasure to work with wonderful like-minded people who have a genuine enthusiasm for imagery, incredibly impressive production skills and are great fun as well.”
