Publicis Groupe’s annual Christmas wishes began a long time ago as a dead straight (dead boring) monologue from the bloke at the top, like the one you may have had to endure at your own agency.
But chief executive officer of Publicis from 1987 to 2017 Maurice Levy got the hang of delivering rally-the-crowd recaps.
In 2015, he went wild.
And in 2016, the year in which his “retirement” in May 2017 and possible successor were in the news, engagingly –
almost endearingly even – self-effacing.
This year’s annual Christmas wishes message comes from new(-ish) CEO, Arthur Sadoun, who begins by promising that there will be no business objective and the message will be short. A promise he keeps.
There are also no laugh out loud gags this year, but do pay attention to the I’m The Boss mug, which featured in the 2016 video…
…and the men’s hair colour.
Here’s a pic of the two of them from January.
