As always with Shiny, 70% of the shortlist was work from under-represented directors. The winners were announced at the event by Regan Warner, executive creative director, McCann London; Peniel Gebreselassie & Eleanor Weitzer, creatives at McCann London; Jack Bayley, director of integrated production craft WW/ McCann and LBB Europe reporter, Zoe Antonov
Shiny has two entry categories, both designed to help directors achieve relevant career goals.

The winners in the Brand New category are:

• Philip James McGoldrick, for Born Of Violence who wins a meeting with Jack Bayley, director of integrated production, craft at McCann London.

• Iulia Voitova, for Roads who wins a meeting with Courtney Prettejohn, senior producer at Craft WW/ McCann

The winners in the Moving Up category are:

• Marleen Valien, Werner, Made for Hoomans Oatly spec ad who wins a meeting with Regan Warner, ECD, McCann London

• Phoebe Brooks, Waiting List for Gendered Intelligence who wins a meeting with Pen & El, creatives McCann London
