Shine Bright doesn’t have a big idea. Instead, it has beautiful bodies. In slo-mo. And it has the directorial ideas of The Sweet Shop’s rising star, Campbell Hooper, the director-designer-writer whose short film, Echoes, created when he was half of directing duo, Special Problems, made it into the Lexus Short Films 2013 program with The Weinstein Company).
The 60 second spot is a showcase for Bonds first product range created specifically for the festive season, featuring glittering gold, sparkling stars and bright confetti prints.
“It was an exhilarating experience to collaborate with Bonds and Clemenger. They fully supported my creative approach and embraced all the colourful chaos I presented to them. Together we produced something amazing that really captures the energy and magic I wanted to share, ” Hooper commented.
The ad gets extra oomph from its music by American electro-rock outfit, Parade of Lights. The band’s track, Golden, will be released by Universal on iTunes in Australia this month.
