Following a series of back-to-school videos for Mac by TBWA\Media Arts Lab with winning Gen Z understanding, Apple Creator Studio has teamed up with British electronic group, Jungle, to wow young hearts and minds in a social series that documents how the band filmed 11 music videos in just four days using Apple’s creative tools. A series that shows what’s possible with Apple when creatives push against real constraints.
Jungle, made up of J Lloyd, Tom McFarland, and Lydia Kitto, is known for bending genres and pushing creative boundaries – and also for its one-shot take music videos, that leave little room for error and demand precision from everyone involved. The films show how the band pulled off 11 of them in four days, relying on Apple Creator Studio’s full suite of tools throughout the process.
The videos accompany Jungle’s new album, Sunshine, and the campaign launches just ahead of the band’s tour, kicking off next month. Apple takes audiences inside the creation process with a main film and a series of social videos capturing the creative sprint as it happened, directed by Danilo Parra. The footage follows trained dancers moving through choreography for tracks, Carry On, Move Like You Do and Someday, Somewhere, from music videos directed by J Lloyd and Charlie Di Placido and choreographed by frequent collaborator, Will West, all racing against the clock. A behind-the-scenes film goes even deeper, offering a closer look at the experience of pulling off the challenge.
