The fourth set of AWARD award finalists is out. The agencies with the most finalists in Film & Video were Leo Burnett Sydney and Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney both with four finalists each.
Three of Leo Burnett’s finalist positions are in Television Commercials individual under 30 seconds, for Men Like Us for Diageo. Leo Burnett has three of the five finalists in this section.
There’s a wider spread of finalists in individual TVCs 30 seconds:
- Joy’s Don’t Miss a Thing for H&R Block has two spots
- Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney’s Unbreakable Driver for Toyota has two spots
- Saatchi & Saatchi NZ’s Tui Beer ads have two spots.
These cover half of the twelve finalists positions.
There are fifteen contenders for individual TVCs over 30 seconds:
DDB Melbourne has three positions, two for Murray Goulburn – Teacher and Take Over plus one for Westpac Sorry.
But these are up against awards favourites like Mistakes by Clemenger BBDO NZ for NZTA and Save Retirement by Clemenger BBDO Melbourne for MLC/NAB.
The four finalists for TVC campaigns under 30 seconds are:
- Clemenger BBDO Melbourne’s Hello Beer for CUB
- Leo Burnett Taiwan’s We Get Freshness for Wellcome Taiwan
- BMF’s Like brands. Only cheaper for Aldi
- Joy’s Don’t Miss a Thing for H&R Block
