What a brilliantly creative place to put an ad for oral hygiene, Shimoni Finkelstein Barki FCB.
“Shimoni Finkelstein Barki FCB is considered a creative boutique. Our credo centers on giving clients innovative, creative excellence, media-neutral and holistic solutions. We are proud to say we have won 4 Cannes Lions awards…”
FCB’s Israel office is right. The agency produces some really nice work by thinking creatively in regards to media, idea and execution.
Its Cannes Health entry was an awareness campaign for the Israel Parkinson’s Association, World Parkinson’s Day-April 11, 2013 – written by sufferers. “We invited 18 different Parkinson’s patients to write our ads in their own handwriting. Each patient wrote the message, ‘Today is World Parkinson’s Day,’ and signed their name under the headline. Their shaky handwriting created a graphic and self-explanatory way to express the degenerative effects of the disease and its effect on the lives of 20,000 patients in Israel.” Nice work.

But it is the ad Shimoni Finkelstein Barki FCB stuck on the back of a garbage truck that caught our eye.
The public service campaign was a health education effort by Israel’s Mehyom association, which encourages healthy nutrition, and the city of Ramat Hasharon.
