Canal+ and BETC make their presence known by creating an interactive website and declaring it a celebration of Cannes .
BETC demonstrates its flair for advertising, by advertising itself and its main client, Canal+ with carpe diem verve. With occasional slides into Franglais – hehe, vengence [sic] and the use of ‘intentions’ throughout, the website lets its audiences play director with the help of Paul Bearman, the director the pair made famous in The Bear ad. They can ask the actors to recreate the scene in other film genres, like horror, romance, arthouse, Asian…and teen…and shout instructions via their microphone.
The website is being supported by banner and pre-roll advertising.
