Australia has now won two Cannes Grand Prix:
McCann Melbourne won the grand Prix in Creative Effectiveness for GuiltTrips for V/Line.
Whybin\TBWA Group Melbourne has won the Grand Prix in Outdoor for ANZ GayTMs.
The Mobile, Media and Outdoor Lions have been announced. The Outdoor jury was led by Jose Miguel Sokoloff, president of Lowe Global Creative Council and chief creative officer of the only D&AD Black Pencil winning agency in 2012, Lowe SSP3 Colombia. There were 5660 entries of which 501 were shortlisted and 18 gold, 40 silver and 70 bronze trophies awarded.
Peru has won its first ever Grand Prix. McCann Lima won the Grand Prix on Media for Happy ID for The Coca-Cola Company. The jury was led by Matt Seiler, Global chief executive officer, IPG Mediabrands. 3127 entries were shortlisted to 227. 13 gold, 24 silver and 54 bronze trophies were awarded.
The Media Network of the Year, awarded to the media agency network that obtains the highest score for entries in the Media Lions section, was presented to Starcom MediaVest. PHD Worldwide came 2nd and OMD Worldwide 3rd.
The Media Person of the Year Award was awarded to Richard Plepler, chairman & chief executive officer of HBO, in recognition of his management of the world’s most successful pay TV service. He has been responsible for the creation of award-winning hit shows, like True Blood, Game of Thrones and True Detective, boosted audiences around the world and established a widespread and active international fan base.
In Mobile, FCB Brasil, São Paulo, was awarded the Grand Prix for Protection Ad, for Nivea. The mobile jury was led by Jaime Robinson, executive creative director, Pereira & O’Dell. From 1187 entries, a shortlist of 116 led to 11 gold, 18 silver and 24 bronze awards.

The Forum theme for day two was Data, Insight, Strategy & Creativity, with talks from Exponential, MCCP, Iris Worldwide, Sense Worldwide, Nielsen and Rufus Leonard. The day’s forums were moderated by John Ridpath and Richard Peters of Decoded.
