BBDO Worldwide has become Network of the Year for the 6th time in a row, a record due in no small part this year to Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, which won 57 Lions.
Clemenger BBDO Melbourne is Agency of the Year. Clemenger was the agency behind two of the most awarded campaigns at Cannes 2017:
- Meet Graham for TAC Victoria, which won 29 Lions including 2 Grands Prix (Health & Wellness & Cyber) and 8 Gold Lions
- Hungerithm for Snickers, which won 21 Lions including 6 Golds.
Nineteen BBDO agencies from around the world won 144 Lions in 24 categories – Creative Effectiveness, Cyber, Design, Digital, Direct, Entertainment, Film, Glass, Health & Wellness, Integrated, Media, Mobile, Outdoor, Print, PR, Radio and Titanium – to make BBDO Network of the Year again.

It’s the second year in a row that a BBDO agency has been named Agency of the Year at Cannes. Last year’s winner Almap BBDO Brazil.
BBDO also achieved the #1 ranking in the Gunn Report as the Most Creative Agency Network in the world for the 11th year in a row.
And it was ranked the #1 Most Effective Agency Network in the world in the Effie Effectiveness Index.
