Colenso BBDO tops Aus and NZ tally. 10 Saatchi & Saatchi offices win 22 Clios.
Let’s just say this now. Colenso BBDO has had a brilliant year of rewards for brilliant work. After returning to New Zealand from Spikes with an impressive haul, it has now come top of the Australian and New Zealand table at the Clios.
- K9FM won Silver and Dogs Don’t Judge won Bronze both for Pedigree, in Audio.
- Reduce Speed Dial won a Bronze for Volkswagen in Innovation.
- The People’s Film won Bronze (for Colenso and Finch) for VW in Film Technique.
- Breast Cream’s A Cream that Gives you Wrinkles won Silver in print for NZBCF / Skinfood.
Nick Worthington, creative chairman at Colenso BBDO, commented humbly, “It’s hardly the world cup but it’s always nice for New Zealand to be represented on the world stage.”
The Saatchi & Saatchi network won 22 awards, spearhead by a CLIO Hall of Fame award, won by Saatchi London, for its T-Mobile Dance, the first advert in its Life’s for Sharing campaign in 2009.
It was named Best UK Commercial of the Year at the BTAAs in 2010. Saatchi & Saatchi’s T-Mobile work also won six awards at the 2009 Cannes Lions and six at the 2009 Eurobest awards. And Saatchi & Saatchi was the most highly awarded British agency at both awards ceremonies.
