The Honda Africa Twin is a maxi-trail bike. For bikers, its allure is the dream of roaming to far-flung places. The obvious advertising solution would be to underline this dream, to show the bike in exotic places – like dozens of vehicle ads past and present.
DDB Paris’ thinking travelled down a different road. In its lifespan of thirty years, the Africa Twin has been roaming all over the world, mountain passes to dune deserts. Is there anywhere it hasn’t been?
