Tomorrow’s world is full of ideas, a perfect world. This is the fantasy that we see everywhere on TV. After almost a year at a standstill, tomorrow’s world makes us dream.
DDB Paris’ new VW campaign came from this idea. The campaign’s three films describe tomorrow’s world as more intense, stronger and more beautiful thanks to a selection of stock images that plays with hyperbole – except for one small element – us. Our kids still sing loudly in the back seat; we’re still a little careless and we still need to be safe on the road. The campaign underlines Volkswagen SUVs’ numerous driving aid technologies, such as Front Assist, Lane Assist and Blind Spot Detection.
“All these assistive technologies put forward a real human benefit and the historical pillar of the brand, safety, with the typical Volkswagen tone,” stated Antoine Gaston-Breton, director of marketing and communication of Volkswagen France.
The campaign is running on TV in France, plus digital and social media.
