You don’t expect offbeat humour in real estate advertising. But you do expect it from Gigil. And again, it’s not offbeat for the sake of it, it’s offbeat that delivers the brand’s message into hearts while it holds attention – this time in a category that rarely achieves either. Arthaland is a real estate developer. The commercial is for its new project, Una Apartments (in English, First Apartments). The campaign is built on the insight that when it comes to life’s firsts, many end in regret – often due to inexperience, bad luck, or poor timing.
Your first home shouldn’t be one of them.
The film, Not for Sale, follows a man who walks into a thrift store to discover that nothing is actually for sale. The items he sees there are revealed to be the owner’s old regrets – painful memories he’s been holding onto, unable to let go. To help him move forward, the man takes him on a bizarre Willy Wonka-style tour of Una Apartments.
