Digital life and IRL are now in a hotly contested competition and phones, as the gateway, are the distraction we hate to love. Google invites people to Reclaim the Moment in a campaign created in-house featuring Pixel 11’s HiLight feature, that gives users the choice to be notified only when specific contacts are trying to reach them, and builds on Google Pixel’s brand platform, Ask More of Your Phone.
The global campaign leads with a commercial called Uninterrupted, directed by MJZ director, Craig zGillespie, with a metaphor that turns digital ads into real people interrupting a get-together between two friends.

Stephen Curry, Google Pixel brand partner and four-time NBA Champion, makes a cameo as one of the personified distractions.
Additional spots that show other ways that Google’s new Pixel 11 can help users “reclaim the moment”, such as staying present despite calls for a favourite concerts or managing a packed calendar during a next vacation, will be released next week.

The campaign is running across broadcast, online video, social channels, and retail.
