Losing the surfboard is one of the biggest nightmares for surfers. The bigger the wave, the worse it is. Nazaré’s 100 foot waves are brutal.
CTT, Portugal’s largest post & delivery service, hijacked the week of one of the biggest surfing competitions in the world, Nazaré Big Wave Challenge, to make an unbelievable delivery. CTT created a unique, one-day-only delivery service, exclusive to big wave surfers, with a surfboard prepared and packaged to be delivered when one of them inevitably loses theirs.
The stunt, with creativity by Havas Lisbon, shows CTT’s “commitment to deliver” anywhere, even in the most challenging of environments.
Paulo Pinto, Havas Lisboa chief creative officer, commented, “Nazaré is the stage of biggest wave in the world, a place where few dare to enter. It’s the ideal spot to show CTT ability to reach every costumer where and when they need it most.”
