German creative agency, Heimat, has been giving home improvement retail chain, Hornbach, ownership of the joy of D-I-Y for several years…
…with some outstanding (epic) creative:
The Glue Society’s Hornbach got even more surreal with help from Wanda Productions:
And this one, by the director of TNT’s Push to Add Drama, Koen Mortier, evokes a different emotion, but also at full volume.
Now Heimat has opened a new emotional treasure chest for Hornbach.
If a large section of all men can relate to the joy of D-I-Y, every human being in the world can relate to losing something that matters and the frantic search that ensues.
And Heimat has captured the feeling exactly. It’s OTT, relentlessly desperation. And of course, it shows off Heimat’s flair for hyperbole to make its point. Watch what Heimat’s protagonist is prepared to do to recover his work jeans.
Wonderful direction by , and production by Trigger Happy Productions, maintain the film’s magnetic pull throughout. Then, the tagline hits you sideways.
The Hornbach Spring Collection. Designed by Your Projects, is not the expected conclusion. But it makes you smile. And that’s good for Hornbach too.
