The Australian Creative Excellence Showcase (ACES) awards are now open for entries. Sorry, rest of the world – this one is just for adland-Aus.
The search for the best locally produced creative that has run on either cinema or TV in the past six months began on August 25 and will end on September 17. The presentation ceremony will be held early in October.
The winner takes home points towards the AdNews Agency of the Year, a $25,000 cinema media schedule, a private movie screening and a trophy.

…it may well be your turn to star.
Unlike many awards programs, Val Morgan’s ACES are free to enter. And all finalists receive points towards the AdNews Agency of the Year Rankings.
Chairman of the ACES, Rob Belgiovane added, “One of the great things about the ACES is the ease of entry. These awards are not only free to enter but there aren’t laborious entry processes involved. With almost no barriers to entry and all the great creative I have seen on TV and Cinema in the past six months, I am expecting a substantial reaction to the call to entry. ”
Daniel Hill, managing director Val Morgan commented, “The ACES highlights the exceptional talent we have in Australia, showcasing outstanding creative on the biggest and best screen of all – the cinema screen. Now in its sixth run, the calibre of work entered is expected to hit a new benchmark”
