Want to earn too much, work too hard and have the best job in the world as an ad creative? Ok then, keep reading. If you think you might be tomorrow’s Cannes Titanium Lion winner, then show us your thinking face – where “us” is ADMA. Show us your thinking face is OgilvyOne’s campaign to let copywriters and art directors of the future know that they can attend Creative School in Melbourne this year. Why attend Creative School? Because until you have the understanding of what it takes to generate ideas that sell and the creative finesse to turn a good idea into a great ad, you won’t earn too much, work too hard and have the best job in the world as an ad creative.
Jessica Roberts, Creative School graduate and junior art director, OgilvyOne. ADMA’s Creative School has been held in Sydney for 11 years. It will continue to be headed by Rob Morrison, creative director of OgilvyOne there this year. And, so that talented Melbournian creatives don’t have to move in with a mate in a new city for 10 weeks, it is running in Melbourne too, headed by BD Network Australia’s David Ponce de León. That’s his thinking face in the picture above. David has worked in both global network agencies and local hot shops in an award-studded career – agencies like George Patterson, Leo Burnett, Lifelounge and now BD Network. “My industry colleagues and I have long identified a need to nurture junior creative talent here.We know it’s hard for juniors to get that essential training in busy agencies where nowadays you need to be able to hit the ground running. ADMA Creative School will fill that gap in Melbourne and give young talent a true understanding of effective creativity,” he stated. “Most of us remember how tough it was getting our first break into the industry. So I couldn’t be happier that we can now help aspiring creatives in both cities to open that first door. If you’re wondering whether you have what it takes to have a career in a creative department, then take a look at ADMA Creative School,” added Rob Morrison.
Simon Bloomfield, creative group head, Ogilvy Sydney. ADMA Creative School starts 14 August in both Sydney and Melbourne and runs until 16 October, two evenings a week. Every creative graduates with a portfolio of work-ready ideas. Most find full-time agency work within six months. Sound good? Then click this link.
