Retirement services company, SPP, has given M&C Saatchi Sweden – not only a USP to work with, but one of the world’s most appealing selling propositions right now: it only invests in ways that benefit both its customers and the environment.
M&C has used this ‘gift’ is the foundation for a (hugely compelling) interactive website, How do you want the world to be when you retire?, that lets people choose – and experience their future.
The statement, “small choices make a big difference,” invites visitors into two worlds – a sustainable future and the one that will eventuate if sustainable practices don’t become the norm.
M&C and B-Reel’s sliding door split screen lets people choose one or the other. Slide right to experience a sustainable future. Slide left to experience a polluted one. The website’s remarkable attention to detail (pay attention to the small everyday sounds) makes each ‘world’ as real as a virtual experience can be.
The work is designed (astutely) for desktops and laptops. Even if it were interactive on a mobile, the impact would be diminished by the tiny smartphone screen.
