Fourteen Australia creatives and three from New Zealand have been selected to join the D&AD Awards Jury for 2019.
Australian jury presidents include Nick Law (chief creative officer & president of Publicis Communications at Publicis Groupe), John Mescall (global executive creative director & global creative council president at McCann Worldgroup) and Amanda Galmes (chief executive officer of Hill+Knowlton Strategies and Colloquial).

For this year’s Awards, D&AD has introduced a variety of innovations to reflect the full range of talent and disciplines that fall within the creative industries. Added to the existing categories are the newly formed Next subcategories for emerging creatives, designers and crafts practitioners to showcase their individual talents. A new Awards category for 2019 is the Side Hustle category, which has been introduced to reflect the increasing number of creatives applying their skills and personal passions to side projects. This category aims to spotlight world class creativity beyond people’s day jobs, from creating new businesses to developing initiatives to address social and environmental issues.
