After revelling in the sacred secret lake of gravy in March, KFC and Mother have created a gravy homage with fashion cult in its DNA. In a collab with cult London label, ARIES, Mother and KFC have cooked up theGravy Drip collection – featuring irreverent humour sharp design, high-concept visuals and a wink of absurdity. The collection is the next evolution of a cultural moment for KFC, that started earlier this year at Sinead Gorey’s fashion week runway, with models clutching chicken mid-strut and social media eating it up.
“It’s a ten-piece love letter to comfort food and couture – where liquid gold gravy meets punk luxury in the most gloriously unhinged way. We’re talking high fashion with a finger lickin’ twist. It’s bold, it’s messy, it’s everything you never knew you needed,” Mother commented.

The collection is classical art meets streetwear attitude, as irreverent as it is refined. It’s digitally printed denim wrapped in Roman banquet-inspired scenes and black tees dripping in golden gravy. Black sweats give athleisure a luxe edge, with sharp gold detailing and dual branding that hits just right. And the piece de resistance – a distressed leather jacket in deep brown, with a Renaissance-style back panel features celestial figures that present chicken drumsticks like prized treasures. Each jacket is finished with a co-branded gold foil logo and a hand-applied gold drip effect – making every piece one of a kind and built for the truly devoted – with £1,400 to spend.

The limited-edition homage to KFC’s Gravy became available to purchase from 9:00am on June 4 exclusively on ariesariese.com.
“When we thought about bringing the nation’s gravy obsession into the world of fashion, we knew there was only one brand iconic and fearless enough to do it with us – ARIES. This is more than just a collab, it’s the ultimate gravy drip, a love letter to our liquid gold,” stated Phoebe Syms, brand manager at KFC UK & Ireland.
“We wanted to create something beautifully executed with a subtle touch of irony,” added Sofia Prantera, founder of ARIES. “The idea of reverence, ritual, and indulgence evoked the spirit of a Roman feast and a celebration of excess.”
The collection is presented in artfully surreal imagery by famed photographer, Douglas Irvine, whose lens has captured icons. The creative evokes Renaissance opulence with a surreal edge. Think Caravaggio if he swapped his fruit bowls for family buckets.
