Daryl missed out on seeing the youngest Australian to score a century in his test captaincy debut…
…because he was at the local tile store. Looking at bathroom soap dishes.
M&C Saatchi Melbourne is reminding Cricket Australia fans not to be buying bathroom fittings, watching funny stunt videos or making a cup of tea during this summer’s CommBank Bank Test Series.
Or as M&C puts it, “Don’t be a Daryl.”
“Don’t Be A Daryl highlights the feeling of missing out on all of the memorable moments cricket offers up, and I am sure that plenty of Australians can associate with their own Daryl moment,” Ben Amarfio, Cricket Australia general manager – media, communications & marketing, noted.
This summer Daryls will miss out on seeing Australia play host to arch rivals New Zealand, the West Indies and India – and the first ever Day-Night Pink-Ball Test at Adelaide Oval.
M&C’s reminder not to miss the moment will run throughout the summer during the Commonwealth Bank Test Series against New Zealand and the West Indies, the Victoria Bitter One Day International Series against India and the KFC T20 International against India.
The 45 second TVC for the upcoming CommBank Bank Test Series is currently airing nationally.
