Parisian production company, Troublemakers, was founded in 2008 and has been growing ever since.

That common love is now shared by five new directors.
Fabien Ecochard’s formal background is in photography and he has used this to create a remarkable visual quality to his work. He has always put people at the centre of his work and this persists. He is inspired first and foremost by stories – and this shows. At the heart of his work is the aim to fuse narrative and emotion.
Roman Valent grew up in Czechoslovakia and studied Visual Media at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. He began his career in the film industry by shooting his own short films, an undertaking that led to his being appointed 1st AD on a variety of feature films and international TVCs. Valent has since directed more than 200 spots, with a strong focus on storytelling and drawing on his unique visual style. He has won work for international clients and agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, London Herezie, France&Co, McCann, Denmark DDB, Europe Y&R, Germany Mattoni, Arnold Milan Lowe Worldwide, and has received numerous awards and nominations worldwide.
Jonathan Zames brings a strong photographic aesthetic to his flair for comedy, a fusion that has rewarded him with a haul of international awards. He is also adept at creating emotional, documentary-style work and has shown himself to have seemingly endless range.
Zames brings to Troublemakers his background as a cinematographer, screenwriter and a creative lead for Google, where he oversaw the creative for many of Google’s web campaigns, and worked as part of an interactive multimedia team leading special projects. This history has given him a richly detailed understanding of what it takes to make standout advertising. He comes originally from Montreal and works in English as well as French.
Dean G. Moore is an English director whose background covers motion graphics design, editing, and cinematography, so he is able to work with confidence across a range of platforms regardless of genre or medium. He creates visually striking and emotive films regardless of subject matter, medium or genre, that connect with an audience has demonstrated his ability to adapt and change his work in order to stay fresh and interesting.
His work so far covers commercial campaigns, digital projects, TV, documentaries, installations and live events. And Moore has worked all over the world, on both large and small scale productions for Adidas, HSBC, Virgin, Snickers, Sainsbury’s, Chevrolet, Canon, London Underground and Converse. In 2011, he co-directed a film, Living Masterpiece, for AMV BBDO, which won a Yellow Pencil in the D&AD 2012 Professional Awards.
Bertrand Avril is a director and CG artist, who made his name throughout the world with his short film, L’Escargot for Nestle Lanvin. The Supinfocom Arles/Mopa graduation film, Slimtime, which he co-directed has been selected for more than 20 festivals. It was screened at Dreamworks Animation and was shown on TV channels including Canal+ and TV5 Monde.
Avril has provided himself with a very broad experience history. He was an intern from 2007 at Leaddog Marketing Group, Buck and Story AB, and has worked with awarded directors, Hannan Heilborn and David Aronwitsch. Since 2012, he has worked with directors, Kuntzel+Deygas, and with Mathematic studio as a compositing artist and CG generalist. He has already directed spots for Lanvin, Kellogg’s and Benefit Cosmetics.
