And yes, that used to mean the work that sits on a glossy paper page. But this is now, and now magazines are also digital.
So the Glossies have extended their scope. There are five categories

Best print campaign
Best digital ad
Best digital campaign
Best print + digital campaign
The grand prix award, which is the best in show, will be selected from the category winners. The winners will be announced on 31 October 2014. Points earned by Glossy award-winners count towards the AdNews Agency Rankings.
A few rules:
Advertisements must have appeared within the period 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014.
No fake ads. You’ll need to provide proof of publication and client contact details if needed to prove that the work was approved and paid for by the client.
