French grocery chain, Monoprix, has a remarkable new “technology”. Human beings. It has launched shortly after Amazon Go.
Whereas Amazon used “computer vision, deep learning algorithms and sensor fusion” to come up with its idea, the French chain simply looked at its customers’ needs to develop its human technology. That’s a really nice promise.
Look at how agency, Rosapark, introduced it to France. Notice that the ad is practically a remake of Amazon’s.
It uses actors who look similar, dressed in the same outfits, and is shot in the same fashion frame-by-frame.
