A glitterati party. There is a hint of ugliness in its excess. It’s a farewell party. Its spoilt guests then depart Earth for a new, cleaner, planet – leaving all their detritus behind.
A voiceover comments, “Our planet is hurting and some people hope to escape and live somewhere else. We wish them the best of luck on their new planet. We, at GRDF, also have a plan for the future. The Farewell Party was filmed by British director, Nima Nourizadeh, and is running on GRDF’s social networks – Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube – and via the hashtag, #LeGazVertLavenir (#GasForTheFuture) on Twitter. Educational content about green gas will also be promoted on social networks through September 22 to boost awareness about the advantages of this energy.
