Joy creative partner, Steve Back, celebrated his one year anniversary at the agency “making advertising worth making” and being invited to judge The One Club’s Young Ones college competition last week.
“This is the most diverse, international jury in the history of the Young Ones competition,” commented Jessica Gumora, education manager at The One Club.
“It’s encouraging for students around the world to see leaders from their native countries serve as judges for a competition they aspire to win.”
56 jury members – 31 professionals and 25 educators – from 15 countries will judge the work of design and advertising students who responded to one of two briefs in the 2016 challenge sponsored by Serviceplan. They are LEGO’s Be The Playful One, which asked participants to improve the in-store experience, and Be The Good One, which asked them to address global gender inequality.
