Apple has shot a 14-episode Mexican telenova, a royal drama, a 360-degree album trailer, an animated plus live action puppy love story, a fan tribute to Bad Bunny…(and more) on the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Now it has given the filming reins to fans of Berlin electronic duo, Brutalismus 3000. The experimental music video, Kairo, captures the raw, unfiltered energy of a Brutalismus 3000 rave from the audience’s perspective. During the performance, lead vocalist Victoria tosses an iPhone 17 Pro Max into the crowd, allowing hundreds of fans to collectively capture the night as they experienced it.

Traditional production techniques were put aside. As the iPhone moves from the front row into the heart of the mosh pit and back through the crowd, it documents authentic moments of movement, emotion, and connection that conventional camera setups simply couldn’t access. Kairo shows off the camera capabilities of iPhone 17 Pro Max in one of the most challenging environments – a Berlin nightclub, surrounded by strobes, smoke, sweat, and constant movement. The result is an experience that places viewers inside the show rather than observing it from the outside. For the first time, audiences are invited inside the electronic music scene with the consent of the artists and attendees.
The project was directed by filmmaking duo, James Topley and Ivo Beckett (formerly DEADHORSES), whose distinctive visual style and unconventional camera work have helped shape music videos for some of today’s most exciting artists. Their editorial approach transforms hundreds of spontaneous fan-shot moments into a visceral portrait of Berlin’s underground electronic music culture.

Ahead of the film’s release, Apple collaborated with Brutalismus 3000 on a mural activation in Berlin, where the band placed one of its signature stickers across an iPhone 17 Pro mural. The sticker, synonymous with the city’s club culture, reflects the underground ethos of the electronic music scene which has largely been undocumented, hidden away behind these stickers.
The music video is running on Brutalismus 3000’s YouTube channel across digital, social and out-of-home channels throughout Germany.
