Most retail advertising makes creatives shudder. It makes The General Store excited, because a couple of years ago Matt Newell and Andrew Fraser saw a hole in the market (good retail advertising) and decided to fill it.
The agency’s latest campaign for Supercheap Auto suggests that it’s doing its job rather well.
Supercheap Auto sells spark plugs, rubber mats and ArmorAll. The campaign of three TVCs sells pride, the satisfaction of a job well done, and the thrill of building something.
