Can a long copy ad work in 2014?
DDB Stockholm has given the long copy ad a go. For McDonald’s. (I’d add an exclamation mark, but that would be rude.) In fact, DDB Stockholm has given the long copy ad a second go. The first one was in September, for cheese. This one is for the pickle.
All hail to the copywriter, Magnus Jakobsson. If anyone reads the story, they’ll find it’s engaging, inviting and superbly crafted. Underdog stories are always endearing.
