The Sweet Shop has won Production Company of the Year at the New Zealand Axis Awards, for the fourth consecutive year. And that’s not all it has won. There was also a Gold, five Silvers and a Bronze in its haul:

- Silver for Craft – Editing: Steve Ayson, SKY Murmuration, DDB Group
- Silver for Craft – Editing: Noah Marshall, Glassons, Made Of Here, JOY
- Silver for Craft –Direction: Noah Marshall, Glassons Made Of Here, JOY
- Silver for Craft – Cinematography: Noah Marshall, Glassons Made Of Here, JOY
- Silver for Innovation in Digital & Interactive – Steve Ayson & Damien Shatford, Google Creative Lab & Semi-Permanent ‘The Cube’
- Bronze for Charity – Mark Albiston, One Percent Collective Superhero
DDB Group was Creative Agency of the Year. It picked up thirty-four awards:
- 3 Grand Prix
- 8 Golds
- 9 Silvers
- 14 Bronze
…across 13 different campaigns for clients, SKY TV, Steinlager Pure, Speight’s, YWCA and Westpac. The three Grand Prix were in three Grand Prix Integrated, Digital and Interactive, and Out-of-Home.
DDB’s most awarded work was the Bring Down the King campaign for SKY TV, which won awards in twelve categories. Next was the Live Dive campaign for Steinlager Pure.
Clemenger BBDO won the Grand Axis for Mistakes for NZTA. It also won Grand Prix in Screen Content and Craft. Clemenger won two more Golds, bringing its awards haul to five.
Method Films and Finch won a Gold each in Craft (Editing and Direction respecitvely) for Mistakes.
Saatchi & Saatchi won five Gold Awards. Its Tui Catch a million campaign won Gold in PR and Activation, Direct and Out of Home, and the Integrated Axis.
Colenso BBDO won two Golds for Breast Cream and for K9FM Radio
