Harley-Davidson has been the champion of personal freedom for more than 110 years and owning a customised Harley has become the asset that says you’re a real biker.

So 303 MullenLowe and Harley have got together with Marvel to create 27 motorcycles inspired by the personality traits of characters from the Marvel universe and encourage Harley fans to customise their own bikes.

The campaign is part of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of Captain America’s first appearance in a Marvel comic.

Just like characters in the Marvel universe, no two customised Harley-Davidson motorcycles are the same. They all have different powers, agilities and looks. Captain America’s bike embodies freedom, the Hulk’s bike is all about strength, Black Widow’s is all about solitude and Ant-Man’s bike is no-nonsense.

The Super Hero Customs collections also promotes some of the most popular Harley-Davidson models – a Groot-inspired Street Glide Special from the Touring range, a Thor-inspired Breakout from the Softail family, and a Black Widow-inspired Iron 883 from the Sportster family, for example.

The campaign, that features exhibitions and events around Australia including Oz Comic Con in Sydney on September 10 and 11, is supported on digital and social platforms and culminates in exhibitions and events around Australia.
