When Asheen Naidu resigned from BWM Dentsu in April he said that he was “really excited” about his next venture. Doesn’t everyone? Turns out, he had every right to be. Naidu has become global creative director at TBWA\Group Singapore.
Currently, he is working remotely from Sydney because of Covid travel restrictions. It won’t be the first time that Naidu has worked in Singapore. He was a creative director at Leo Burnett there for just less than a year in 2006.
BWM had lured Asheen Naidu from another TBWA agency, Whybin\TBWA Sydney, in November 2014. He was a creative director there and became executive creative director of BWM Group Sydney.
He has also worked in New York at BBH, and in South Africa at Net#work BBDO, Lowe Bull and Leo Burnett early in his career.
Under Naidu’s five-year leadership, BWM add a D&AD Black Pencil and Cannes Grand Prix to its awards collection.
