It wouldn’t be Christmas without improbable family tear-jerker ads. Heaven knows the world needs a deluge of stories like these and what better time to flood ad breaks with them. BETC has come up with a beauty for French telco, Bouygues – an awkward dancing dad story with the classic through the years theme and the hallmark child keeps the “tradition” going ending.
The film, which is running on TV in France, was directed by Martin Werner and is set to Redbone’s 1973 hit, Come and get your Love, which is having a second fifteen minutes of fame as the intro to Guardians of the Galaxy.
