JBL gets revenge on a returner in a brilliantly funny stunt by Havas NY and Annex88. The campaign is built around a Gen Z trend that frustrates brands – buying products for one use and then returning them. For JBL, it’s PartyBox speakers. So, with the graduation party season and summer on the way in the US, the team found Charlie who bought a PartyBox for a party and returned it the day after.
They delivered a 3 metre, 454 kilogram PartyBox speaker to his frat house door. Former pro football player and Hall of Fame return specialist, Devin Hester, plays the frontman, challenging Charlie to return it.
The Unreturnable PartyBox’ message? You don’t return the life of the party.
