There are many hands out hoping for donations. Tico’s Wild Studio is one of them. It needs money to conserve Costa Rica’s jaguars. Half of the population has been lost.

jotabequ GREY has created a new idea to trigger donations in a campaign called Jungle Eyes. It has turned donations into sponsorships. Money given is not donated to the cause, it sponsors a non-intrusive automatic camera trap – or more than one camera trap depending on the size of the sponsorship. This model allows sponsors to become more involved in the project and be recognised as an integral part of the project if a scientific discovery is made thanks to one of their cameras.

Rafael Rivera Villanueva, chief creative officer of jotabequ GREY, stated, “The Tico Wild project came to us to help them find donations, but we ended up turning their business around. Today, those who were sporadic donors are their sponsors, and pay a monthly fee for the video data of the jaguars from the camera traps.”
