The ad, for General Electric, may pass more than most through the average brain without stopping in a break between American Dad and the news – its tone is quiet, its voice prosaic and its soundtrack softly lyrical.
But hey, it’s a corporate campaign and you can bet the brief was to create a connection between GE and everyday people. It makes mums feel that GE appreciates them.
And 1,007,961 YouTube views in a tad more than two weeks is a laudible effort for a corporate commercial.
