If you decided to go to Cannes Lions on the spur of the moment – or on the hint of a Lion – BBR Saatchi & Saatchi’s launch stunt means you can still find a hotel.
The agency has used Cannes event to launch TravelorBot to a bunch of frequent business travellers.
The agency placed its billboard strategically – at the entrance to the Palais des Festivals to introduce TravelorBot, the first hotel booking bot of its kind.
The user-friendly and highly intuitive bot allows travellers to find and book a hotel easily, using the Facebook messenger app. All they need do is enter the name @TravelorBot in the messenger window and say “Hi” to start the process. From there the bot will guide them through the search and ordering process using a series of simple questions.
The bot is hotel and booking site, Travelor’s, response to the rise of the spontaneous traveller, increasing app fatigue and the growing number of people using messaging as their platform of choice.
