The Hallway’s brand platform has a clever double meaning and the campaigns lean heavily into the bank’s commitment to having a positive impact on the world as well as the financial wellbeing of Suncorp customers. Win-win for the bank.
The new campaign is as quirky (for a bank) as the February launch campaign, helping the bank to stand in a crowd of same-same advertising with rejoicing ants and echidna digging holes so the planet can regenerate. The latest spot promotes the bank’s home loans, offering a $3,000 solar home bonus for properties with a solar power system installed.
Simon Lee, executive creative director at The Hallway, stated, “Switching to solar power is a relatively simple thing to do, but the ripple effect of doing so is far-reaching. This ripple effect provides fertile creative territory that we’re having a lot of fun exploring with our partners at Suncorp.”
